AGL Networks announces new sales director
ATLANTA – March 17, 2008 - AGL Networks today announced that Paul Vander Veer has joined the company as sales director of wholesale, western region. Vander Veer will manage sales to strategic carrier accounts based in Denver and other locations in the western US.

Vander Veer began his career at Qwest Communications in 1995 as an account manager. He spent the next several years rising through the sales ranks, before becoming director of business development, national network, dark fiber. In this position Vander Veer handled pricing strategy, product management, sales, acquisition, offer management, contract negotiations and customer care.
In 2006, Qwest added the day to day operations of their Pricing & Offer Management Group to Vander Veer's management responsibilities.
Vander Veer attended Colorado State University where he majored in economics.
He is a native of Colorado and resides in Denver with his wife and two children.
