Vice President, Wholesale Sales and new market development
James Nolte is vice president of wholesale sales and new market development for AGL Networks. In his role, Nolte leads the new market development team in addition to setting the strategic direction of the wholesale business at Networks. He manages a wholesale team that is responsible for developing new opportunities, provides short and long term sales planning and executes these new business opportunities that enhance the long term value of the business.
Prior to being named to his current role, Nolte served as director of sales for wholesale while focusing on strategic accounts for AGL Networks. He was responsible for developing relationships and new business opportunities with key strategic customers in emerging wireless and wire line wholesale accounts.
Nolte spent 12 years with AT&T in sales and sales management roles, 3 years with BellSouth in business development for the BellSouth.net division and 3 years with ICG Communications running their southeast sales division. At ICG, he directed over 30 sales and operations personnel spread across 4 states. He has over 20 years of sales and business development experience focused in the telecommunications sector.
Nolte holds an MBA from Goizueta School of Business, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
