Mr. Stephens joined AGL Networks in 2001 as manager network deployment. In this role Stephens has responsibility for project managing all aspects and phases of engineering, design and construction. Stephens and his project team will have constructed approximately 400 route miles of fiber within the last 3 years.

Stephens is also a key member of Networks market and new market expansion program. He works alongside the enterprise and wholesale account teams to develop cost models for fiber network expansion. He manages several phases of each new market study and developing expansion opportunity. In each phase he collaborates with sales on route development, optimal route per market for revenue attainment goals, projected aerial and underground cost and long term cost to maintain.

Prior to his assignment at Networks, Stephens had worked approximately 30 years for the new AT&T in several various capacities. During his tenure there, he had responsibility as a district manager, lead engineer, loop capacity manager, facility manager and OSP supervisor.

Mr. Stephens attended Georgia Southwestern College Americus.
